Malt is a sprouted grain, usually barley, which gets its unique flavor from roasting and is used together with hops to make beer.

WILD has developed products with a typical beer flavor and a mild bitterness, but contain no alcohol through production or in the final product. Since 2004, WILD offers a malt flavor system that can be made into a clear malt concentrate from a brew of brewing malt. The malt drink flavor system is a clear, stable concentrate with a Brix between 60° und 65°. The stability of the finished beverages has also been proven through testing.

The taste of final product can be rounded out with hops, beer, or fruit flavors. The product range includes a variety of hops and fruit flavors for these natural beverages. WILD also offers alcohol-free flavors. In addition, the malt drinks are light-stable and can be filled without the use of brewing technology, usually on soft-drink production lines.
