At the WILD Research Center in Berlin, the typical flavor and characteristics of the end product, such as a particular color or clarity of the tea beverage, are considered very important as early as the flavor-system extract refinement stage. It is particularly important to adhere precisely to the mixing sequence of the individual components when producing tea drinks to prevent cloudiness. If the sequence is not done in the correct order, the components might react with other ingredients in the final product, depending on the concentration. The use of de-mineralized or soft water with all the polyvalent ions removed keeps the final product crystal-clear and free of precipitants.
