WILD Flavors GmbH, Zug/Schweiz: Andreas Baumgarth appointed as COO Europe (07.10.2011)

October 7, 2011. Effective from 1 October, Andreas Baumgarth (47) assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the European Operations of WILD Flavors GmbH. He will be responsible for all aspects of the European business. Andreas Baumgarth will be a member of the Management Board and report directly to Michael Ponder, Global Chief Executive Officer.

With more than twenty years of management experience at, amongst others, Henkel, the Jefferson-Smurfit-Group and most recently Doehler, Baumgarth is a real asset for WILD. “We are very pleased to have an executive with Andreas’ leadership, know-how and background joining the company in this key role” states Michael Ponder, CEO. “The appointment of Andreas Baumgarth is another important step in the future plans to enter the public market.”
